Allegations of unwholesome looting in Osun governor’s lodge and presidential quarters has been described as not only ridiculous but a strategy by incubent governor and his men to blackmail the reputable image of the immediate past administration
Media aide to former governor Oyetola of Osun state, lsmail Omipodan stated this while reacting to the allegations at a press conference with journalists in Osogbo.
Addressing newsmen, Ismail Omipidan debunked the allegation, saying the items in both places were intact as at the time of handing over to agents of the new government
He explained that a team of protocol department with DSS officers and security operatives attached to the new government painstakingly took inventory of facilities in the places on Saturday 26th of November, a day before Oyetola exited office
Omipidan said the new government of governor Ademola Adeleke took over the following day being Sunday, 27th and had its inauguration party there in the lodge only to come with the allegation after about 72 hours in government.
He said if truly there was any ignoble looting, the public should look in the direction of the new administration over the allegation
