Evangelist (Dr) Funmi Aragbaiye Set to Mark 70th Birthday and 40 Years of Divine Call to Ministry on July 28
Nigeria’s gospel music legend, Evangelist (Dr) Funmi Aragbaiye, is set to celebrate her 70th birthday and 40 years of divine call to gospel music ministry on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Felicia Hall, Jogor Centre, Liberty road, Ibadan.
The event, which promises to be a memorable one, will have in attendance dignitaries from across the country, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who will serve as the father of the day. Other notable guests include Pastor Enoch Adeboye and Dr. J.O. Akinfenwa, who will serve as spiritual fathers of the day.
His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi and His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso (CON) Osile of Oke Ona, Egba will be the Royal Fathers of the day. Some south west governors, former governors, and other top government officials are also expected to attend.
The event will feature a birthday celebration, the launch of the celebrant’s book, and the inauguration of her foundation. Prof. Kayode Adebowale, Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, will chair the occasion, while the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, will be the chief host.
