Churches should discover Youths with hidden Potentials and groom them to perfection – Reverend Ogedengbe
The Executive Assistant to Oyo State Governor on Administration, Reverend Idowu Ogedengbe has encouraged churches to empower their youths by discovering their skills and potentials and help them nurture it to growth for the betterment of our nation.
Ogedengbe gave the advice to Christian faithfuls while speaking to journalists recently in Ibadan.
According to him, there are lots of youths with potentials yet untapped in our various churches and the church of God need to groom them in their various areas of specialty so that they can become useful not only to the church but to their society at large.
Pastor Ogedengbe noted that Nigeria as a nation is presently experiencing economic downturn which has resulted to lot of unemployment and increases atrocities among Youths.
The Cleric appealed to churches to take proactive measures in enlightening the youths to use the new technological innovation to enhance their career
Ogedengbe while speaking on the recent distribution of palliatives to Oyo state people by the government said that the present administration in Oyo State is concerned about the welfare and comfort of the masses hence the reason for the distribution of the palliatives among other empowerment programmes.
“I hereby urge the good people of Oyo State to continue to support the present administration for positive developments in all areas of economy and shun any act that can disrupt the peace of the State, Ogedengbe said”.
