...Lauds Makinde's Selection Process
The State President of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Comrade Ayobami Adeogun has congratulated the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Olanike Adeyemo, Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries and the Accountant General on their appointments by the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
In a statement personally signed by Comrade Adeogun and made available to newsmen on Thursday described the appointment of Commissioners by Governor Seyi Makinde which cut across all the federal constituencies of the state as appropriate and highly commendable.
“His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde has displayed high level of government of inclusiveness by appointing at least one Commissioner from each of the Federal Constituency of the state” he stated.
According to Comrade Adeogun, this unique selection process across the state will guarantee sense of belonging which will go a long way in encouraging the good people of Oyo State to continue their support and cooperation with the second term of Governor Makinde’s administration (Omituntun 2.0).
He specifically expressed his gratitude to Engr. Seyi Makinde for reappointing Barrister Titilola-Sodo as Special Adviser on Labour Matters; Mr Akin Funmilayo as Commissioner for Lands, Housing and Urban Development as well as Deacon Taiwo Adewale and Alh. Kola Kazeem as Permanent Secretaries all from Local Government Service of Oyo State.
