The lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency in Oyo State at the House of Representatives, Shina Peller has assured the people of Oke Ogun a new dawn if he emerged winner in the forthcoming election.
He declared this on Wednesday while flagging off his senatorial campaign at Adabo Market, Palace Square, Iseyin, Oyo State.
The Ayedero of Yorubaland who is contesting on the platform of the Accord party in Oyo North Senatorial District, said the interest of his people is very crucial and of great importance to him and this is why he obliged their calls .
Shina Peller noted that he has been able to proof to the people of Oke-Ogun that he is the right candidate for the job as he had touched every aspect of human development ranging from health, agriculture infrastructural development, education, security, women empowerment just to mention few in his present political position adding that he intends to do more if they vote him in for the Senatorial position.
According to him “I will be leading a libration mission for the whole Oyo North Senatorial District, where we want the principle of equity, justice to be upheld.
The lawmaker who noted that he is representing a constituency that has four local government areas said “My local government, Iseyin has been the dominating local government out of the four local governments and during my time, I want the minority to have a say too and that is why I promised not ask for second term so that other local governments can have their turn and that is why I am presently running for Senate seat under Accord party “.
Peller added that “It is a new dawn in our senatorial district, thanks for supporting me and believing in me, I asked for your vote in 2019 and you surprised me by voting for me, then I was in another party, now I am going for the Senate under Accord Party, and I need your support again” he said.
“When Accord came, we saw that it is party that understands the interest of the people. They understand the interest of the youths, women and the people with disabilities . The logo of our party is your thumb, Please use the thumb to vote for me and I promise to make you proud ” he reaffirmed.
The National Chairman of Accord, Honorable Muhammed Lawal Nalado in his remarks said the crowd that turned up for this event is an indication that Accord Party is a lovable party and he has uttermost assurance that Peller will win Oyo North ticket and also all other Accord Party candidates that are contesting in the forthcoming election will all win.
Dignitaries present at the programme include the National Chairman of Accord, Honorable Muhammed Lawal Nalado, Accord National Secretary, Honorable Adebukola Ajaja, former Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Gunju Ojo, other National Executive Committee members and political leaders from the thirteen local government areas in Oyo North.
