The Senate has moved that the passage of the 2023 Appropriation Bill will be on Thursday
President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, gave the hint on Tuesday at plenary session when he read a letter transmitted to parliament from President Muhammadu Buhari on the Finance Bill 2022.
He said the Finance Bill seeks to support the implementation of the 2023 budget in the areas of tax equity, response to climate challenges especially gas flaring, boost economic growth, among others.
The Senate President however mandated the Committee on Finance to work on the bill and submit during plenary on Wednesday.
